You know how we love those little Hallmark Christmas movie towns? We long to be in a place where everything is fa-la-la and everyone still believes. And the towns where it always snows on Main Street and ice skaters glide along to Christmas tunes under the sparkly lights, we can’t get enough of those!
Well, we aren’t sure we can guarantee ALL of those dreamy visions of sugar plums dancing in your head, but we do love Christmas in Munfordville and we hope you will too! Here’s more info about two special days that we completely recommend.
Secondly, Munfordville’s Christmas Parade is December 7th at 1 pm. There will be loads of candy and holiday cheer in the air! The high school band marches down the street, there are floats, tractors, horses, old cars, atvs and of course Santa! Kids can make a free ornament and see Santa at River Pointe on Main Street after the parade. Warm bowls of chili will be served at the Hart County Historical Museum luncheon and all of the shops on Main Street will be open. Oh, and it turns out there’s another 100% chance of snow that day at the Welcome Center as well!
